The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center | North Campus Expansion
Broaddus & Associates is providing project management consulting for MD Anderson’s $6B North Campus Expansion Program in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. The team is embedded within MD Anderson’s facilities organization and brings more than 20 years of experience supporting its healthcare and research facilities. Phase I includes the $1.25B, 750,000-SF Clinical Services Building, which will consolidate clinical support, laboratory, pharmacy, education, and operational services while incorporating advanced technology, data, and robotics.
Phase II includes the $2.2B Inpatient Bed Tower, requiring extensive site, utility, enabling, and relocation coordination within the congested TMC. The program also includes the ACB 2/3 development, a planned 3M-GSF ambulatory campus with medical towers, a connecting podium, underground parking, and renovations to adjacent facilities. Together, these projects will expand MD Anderson’s clinical and support capacity with flexible, technology-driven infrastructure for future growth.
