A Message From Our Founder

Welcome to the Broaddus & Associates website, where you are able to learn more about our services and the portfolio of projects we have managed. When I founded the firm in 2000, I recognized the need for project and program management services that were tailored to the needs of project owners. Since that time, our firm has grown to over 150 professionals and a $14 billion project portfolio.  I am often asked about the key components of this growth, and while I sometimes think it should be more complex, our success is due to three primary factors:

  • First, we seek out only the most experienced, proactive professionals for our team. With an average 25 years of experience, our firm’s employees have collectively managed billions of dollars in construction for both public and private sector clients. We take pride in our diverse staff experience, utilizing the right mix of engineering, construction management, architecture, project management, planning and technology skills when required to adapt to a wide variety of roles on any project.
  • Next, we have developed proven procedures that will ensure project success. While each project has different requirements, there are standard practices that offer value in every case. Programs such as constructability, pre-project planning, and partnering have been used in addition to alternate project delivery systems to effectively control budgets, compress schedules, and create satisfied clients.
  • Finally, we have operated in a manner that puts the owner’s needs above all else on a project. This includes creating solutions to the unique requirements of the complex projects we serve. We are committed to employing the latest technological resources to ensure our projects receive every advantage, not just through all phases of planning, design and construction, but also long after we’ve left the project site.

We are proud of the growth we’ve enjoyed, but the most important recognition our firm receives comes in the form of repeat clients who request our services. Our company’s growth is based on demonstrated performance that makes our firm the obvious choice to owners requiring assistance with their projects. We are a privately-held firm that is proactively led by its principals and owners. Unlike large, publicly-traded companies, we measure our success by the satisfaction of our clients, not shareholders.  After 22 years of serving clients, Broaddus & Associates remains dedicated to pursuing our goal of becoming an indispensable advocate for project owners.
