Construction

Broaddus Construction was originally founded in 1972 as FJW Construction. Offering services in the Dallas-Ft. Worth region, FJW built a reputation for excellence and meeting the specific needs of clients. Over the next 35 years the firm provided services in over 30 states; serving a national customer base. During this time FJW completed approximately 400 projects for over 100 clients, with multiple clients on a repeat basis.

In 2008, FJW became part of the Broaddus Companies which enhanced its outstanding reputation by leveraging the continuity of FJW staff with new practices and markets. Guided by the principal management of Dr. James Broaddus and David Bowlin, the Broaddus Companies instilled an integrated project delivery mentality in FJW. In addition, their experience with multiple market sectors including; healthcare, higher education, K-12, government, retail, aviation, multi-family housing, industrial, and public/private partnership projects were deemed valuable assets. Later, to better serve the needs of clients around the state of Texas, the firm opened permanent office locations in Austin, Houston, and McAllen.

FJW Construction was officially changed to Broaddus Construction in 2017 as a part of a strategic planning initiative to leverage the cohesiveness and resources of respective firms. Through integrity, reliability, and owner advocacy, Broaddus Construction has consistently displayed our commitment to improving our service, culture, and resources; for both our clients and employees.
