Broaddus & Associates provided project management services for The University of Texas System Office of Facilities Planning and Construction for the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies at the Texas Research Park west of San Antonio. Services included budget and schedule control, program and design coordination, and management of the architect/engineer and contractor selection processes.

The world-class research facility combines laboratory and vivarium spaces designed to UT System and NIH standards. The facility supports research in four primary areas of aging—cellular, invertebrate, transgenic, and human genetics—and includes research laboratories, computational research, support spaces, animal resources, and administrative areas.
