Broaddus & Associates provided full-time construction representation and administration services for the University of Texas at San Antonio’s new Chaparral Village, developed to address growing student housing demand. Completed in fall 2004, the 350,000-SF freshman residence facility accommodates 1,000 students in apartment-style two- and four-bedroom suites with living rooms and kitchenettes.

The facility also includes neighborhood laundry facilities, study rooms, computer labs, shared kitchens and living spaces, and a City Center for larger gatherings and academic activities. Broaddus & Associates staffed an on-site office with experienced construction management professionals to provide continuous project oversight and administration throughout construction.
