DATA CENTERS
University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center | Data Center Expansion
Broaddus & Associates is serving on the project delivery team for MD Anderson Cancer Center’s $6 billion Capital Improvement Program in Houston, supporting major upgrades across multiple data centers. The projects replace aging UPS systems whose components are being phased out, improving reliability and maintainability while adding new PDUs, CRAHUs, and advanced cooling technologies for high-density server environments.
The three data center projects provide a combined 13.4 MW of capacity and include 16 new UPS systems, 12 PDUs, and 77 high-density computer server racks. Chilled Door cooling and Direct Liquid Cooling technologies utilize chilled water systems to support the increased cooling demands of high-density computing.
