University of Texas at Brownsville / Texas Southmost College | Bond Program Management
Broaddus & Associates was selected to manage the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College’s $68 million bond program, which was leveraged to $78 million for campus construction and renovations. The program included a 58,000-SF Arts Center, 43,000-SF East Library, Large Classroom Building, Center for Early Childhood Studies, renovations to Oliveira Library and the International Technology, Education and Commerce Center, and thermal plant infrastructure upgrades.
Broaddus & Associates provided comprehensive program management, including budgeting, programming, design and contractor selection, advisory committee coordination, design and constructability reviews, construction administration, quality assurance, and project closeout. The team managed each project from planning through completion while maintaining overall program budget, schedule, and communication objectives.
