University of Houston - TDECU Stadium

The University of Houston (UH) engaged a study that prompted a program of improvements to its athletic facilities that included the construction of TDECU Stadium.  The $120 million football stadium includes a 360-degree concourse, a 5,000-square foot home locker room, club and loge box seating, a 2,584 square feet HD-video board, and a plaza area recognizing the proud tradition of Houston Football.

The stadium is oriented in a direction that gives fans and television audiences a clear view of the downtown Houston skyline.  The stadium seats 40,000, and includes the strategic placement and installation of foundations to accommodate future expansion to 60,000.   Broaddus & Associates provided project management services for the construction phase, which was completed in time for the opening home game in August 2014.  Broaddus Planning was previously responsible for preparing the stadium master plan and program.
