Broaddus & Associates managed the design and construction of The Methodist Hospital’s 1.6 million-SF Outpatient Center in Houston’s Texas Medical Center, completing the complex project six weeks ahead of schedule while maintaining surrounding hospital operations. The 23-story facility includes 760,000 SF of clinical space, parking for 1,370 vehicles, and a dedicated central utility plant. The project required demolition, tenant relocation, and implosion of an existing 15-story tower in a highly constrained urban environment.

Broaddus used 3D modeling and multiple GMP submissions to reduce conflicts, accelerate construction, and control costs. These strategies generated $28 million in savings, with an additional $7.5 million saved through client-directed scope reductions. The completed facility provides a self-contained healthcare environment with dedicated utility infrastructure and serves as a prominent addition to the Texas Medical Center skyline.
