Broaddus & Associates served as Program Manager for Texas State University’s 46,000 SF Bobcat Stadium expansion, which added 268 premium seats, 15 luxury suites, 436 club seats, press box upgrades, a new track and field throwing area, lighting, and parking. The project was required to be completed within an aggressive 11-month schedule to meet Football Bowl Subdivision requirements.

To meet the deadline, Broaddus & Associates helped select the design and construction teams within two weeks and implemented an accelerated design process involving key university and community stakeholders. BIM and intensive value engineering were used to reduce conflicts, maintain the schedule, and maximize the project scope, with $1.5 million in savings incorporated into the final design. Construction was completed in 257 days, on budget and in time for the first football game of the season.
