Manufacturing & Warehouse Facilities

Broaddus & Associates served as project manager for TAMLYN’s new 78,000 SF warehouse in Missouri City, Texas, developed to support the company’s continued growth and need for additional storage. The facility includes pallet racking, restrooms, and provisions for future administrative space, along with 50 parking spaces, a fire access road, and two entrances from the main roadway.

After being brought on when the initial owner’s representative was not retained, Broaddus & Associates identified $150,000 in savings by replacing bar joists with wide-flange trusses, reducing both cost and material lead time. The team also coordinated with a third-party civil engineer and the City of Missouri City to develop a temporary detention pond after discovering regional retention limitations, allowing the project to avoid an estimated 24-month delay.
