Broaddus & Associates was engaged by the Texas State University System to address significant delays on the $21 million, 150,000-SF student housing complex at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX. With a critical summer completion deadline, Broaddus & Associates quickly deployed a full-time, on-site project manager to assess and resolve quality control, manpower, and scheduling challenges.

Through focused schedule adjustments and project oversight, the team successfully completed the 625-bed residence hall before the fall 2006 semester, meeting the University’s critical housing needs. Non-essential improvements continued after the semester began, allowing the facility to open on time without compromising the project’s overall completion.
