In the fall of 2015, Pearl Public School District selected Broaddus & Associates as the program manager for their bond program. Assisted by Broaddus & Associates’ effort in establishing the District’s needs and program requirements, the community approved a $24 million bond by 83%. 

The program will be anchored by a new 86,000 SF 4th and 5th grade school, complete with modern science labs, computer labs, a gym and cafeteria that can accommodate large groups. Other projects will include a six room addition at Northside Elementary, a four room addition at Pearl Lower Elementary, and additions/renovations at Pearl High School. As program manager, Broaddus & Associates works alongside the owner, design team, and contractors on the project to ensure the district’s interests are protected.

Broaddus & Associates will provide oversight of preconstruction services, estimating, master program scheduling, design reviews, constructability reviews, and full project management services from onset to project closeout. Duties also include contract negotiations, progress meetings, reporting, change management, and cost control.

With a very defined budget and concise direction from the owner, Broaddus & Associates is engaged in protecting the project budget and ensuring the goals of the program are met.
