Broaddus & Associates provided program management for Houston Methodist’s new 25,000-SF freestanding data center, overseeing consultant selection, construction, and operational startup. The team managed evolving IT technology requirements within a fixed budget through weekly coordination with IT staff, flexible planning, and careful management of equipment layouts, cooling, and electrical loads.

The team achieved cost and schedule savings by evaluating current needs against future expansion, optimizing redundancy levels, and developing a phased growth plan. Broaddus & Associates also mitigated schedule risks by pre-requisitioning long-lead equipment and coordinating the installation of approximately five miles of under-slab conduit.
