Broaddus & Associates is providing Program Management Services for Cook Children’s Health Care System’s 760,000-SF West Tower expansion at its 2.5 million-SF Medical District campus in Fort Worth. The project is the centerpiece of a 10-year master plan designed to expand pediatric healthcare capacity across North and West Texas and includes a 143-bed NICU, 56-room PICU, and specialized cardiovascular operating rooms for pediatric heart transplants and heart failure programs.

The program also includes 60,000 SF of flexible shell space for future healthcare services and support facilities, including a $42.9 million, 504-vehicle parking garage, data center, childcare center, and expansion of the south utility plant by 10,000 kW. The Heart Center and Critical Care areas emphasize advanced medical capabilities, patient privacy, natural light, and expanded capacity for specialized pediatric care.
