City of Port Aransas | Hurricane Harvey Disaster Recovery Program

Following Hurricane Harvey in 2017, Port Aransas suffered extensive damage to public infrastructure and facilities. Broaddus & Associates is serving as the City’s Owner’s Representative, coordinating FEMA, Texas GLO, grant, and insurance funding while managing the long-term recovery program.

The program includes more than 71 projects, including replacement of the Police Station and Public Safety Complex, City Hall improvements, parks, marina, roads and utilities, consolidated Public Works facilities, three recreational fishing piers, and hardened ship channel bulkheads. Broaddus & Associates oversees damage assessments, funding approvals, design and construction, and architect, engineer, and contractor coordination to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
