Following Buda’s 2014 bond program, Broaddus & Associates was retained after the City terminated its previous project management firm due to budget and schedule concerns. The team quickly assessed the program and developed an implementation plan addressing the contractor’s guaranteed maximum price, construction schedule, constructability, and value engineering.

The $55 million Bond Program included a new Municipal Building housing City Hall, Public Library, and the Buda Economic Development Corporation, as well as a 12,420-SF Public Safety Building for the Buda Police Department. Broaddus & Associates worked closely with city and police staff throughout planning and design to meet operational needs and ultimately helped deliver the projects on schedule while controlling an increased budget.
