Broaddus & Associates and Project Control served as Program Manager for Alamo Colleges’ $125 million Northeast Lakeview College and $106 million Northwest Vista College construction and renovation programs. The projects included fine arts and performing arts facilities, academic buildings, libraries, learning centers, gymnasium additions, student commons, and supporting infrastructure such as roads, parking, utilities, maintenance facilities, and stormwater systems.

Through careful cost control and oversight, the team saved more than $4 million on Northeast Lakeview projects and more than $2 million on Northwest Vista projects while delivering both programs within budget despite significant construction cost inflation. Broaddus & Associates recommended the Construction Manager at-Risk delivery method, which provided GMP pricing and enabled the campuses to be completed one year earlier than traditional delivery methods, resulting in the fastest delivery of a Texas higher-education bond program at the time.
