ATHLETIC FACILITIES

Amory School District | High School Track & Football Field

The Amory School District suffered severe damage to its facilities from an EF 3 Tornado that swept across Mississippi in March 2023.  The recovery effort focuse4d on repairing, restoring, and replacing these facilities while optimizing available relief.

The Broaddus & Associates team served on site as the district’s owner’s representative, assisting with the initiatives required to get the resources needed to get the schools fully operational.  We managed the deploment of temporary facilities that house classrooms, offices and student athletics support spaces, helping to maintain the school year schedule until permanent facility replacements or repairs are completed.  Relocating these resources also allowed for the significant undertaking of debris removal from the affected sites.

Our team facilitates the district’s full compliance with federal, state, and local laws, minimizing potential audits and reviews, and reducing the impacts from future disasters. With a focus on FEMA PA and Hazard Mitigation Programs, our team’s demonstrated experience and extensive knowledge contribute to the effective operation of these critical initiatives.  Our experienced team understands the complexities of this process, and coordinates emergency disaster funding sources from insurance and government resources.
