The Amory School District sustained extensive facility damage from an EF3 tornado that struck Mississippi in March 2023. The disaster recovery program focused on repairing, restoring, and replacing facilities across two campuses while maximizing available relief funding. Broaddus & Associates served as the district’s on-site owner’s representative, supporting recovery efforts for the Amory High School baseball and softball stadiums, which were destroyed in the tornado and required teams to play all 2023–2025 games on the road.

The stadium reconstruction included concrete flatwork, fencing, Musco lighting, flag installations, Matrix Helix turf with Ecotherm cooling infill, Cushdrain shock pads, indoor batting facilities, bullpens, field houses, equipment storage, Daktronics video boards, and wood fencing. New grandstands provide seating for more than 600 spectators and include a press box, 2,800 SF of concessions and restroom facilities. Broaddus & Associates helped deliver the athletic facilities in time for Amory High School’s season-opening game in February 2026.
