Manufacturing & Warehouse Facilities

University of Texas at Austin | Micro-Electronics Research Center

Located at the Pickle Research Center, the Micro Electronics Research Cleanroom renovation converted two existing wet labs into two ISO 5 cleanrooms, two ISO 6 cleanrooms, two gowning rooms, and a clean corridor with supporting infrastructure. Broaddus & Associates provided highly technical reviews of project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risks, along with on-site project management during construction. Services included stakeholder coordination, logistics and staging planning, and coordination of specialized systems such as UPW, CDA, PVAC, PCW, chemical CDUs, gas cabinets, waste collection, and bulk gas storage and commissioning.

Broaddus & Associates also supported project controls and owner decision-making through risk mitigation matrices, cost and schedule reviews, progress reporting, inspections, and analysis. The team developed narratives addressing cost and schedule overruns, provided knowledge transfer to owner personnel, and prepared supporting documentation for the UT Board of Regents to justify supplemental project funding.
