Broaddus & Associates served as Program Manager for Eanes ISD’s 2006 Bond Program, which included a comprehensive renovation of the Westlake High School Performing Arts Center. The year-round venue hosts student productions and traveling companies and is a premier performing arts facility in the Austin area. The renovation included replacement of front-of-house seating, lighting, and audio-visual systems, as well as installation of a state-of-the-art sound system and three Christie Roadster projection systems to support multimedia productions.

Additional improvements included a complete lobby refurbishment and extensive backstage upgrades, including new lighting rails, rigging, drops, and recording equipment. The facility also features full audio and video recording production studios and is operated by faculty and student volunteers in the school’s Technical Education Program, providing students with hands-on experience that prepares them for careers and higher education in theater and performing arts production.
