First Responder Facilities

City of Port Aransas | Public Safety Center

Broaddus & Associates is serving as Owner’s Representative for the City of Port Aransas’ disaster recovery efforts following Hurricane Harvey, including the repair, restoration, and replacement of public safety facilities. The team helped identify facility needs for a community with approximately 3,000 residents and an average daily population exceeding 17,000 due to tourism.

The new facility will include separate juvenile and adult holding areas, secure access and circulation, and ADA-compliant features. It will also house the Nueces County circuit court, county constable’s office, and city municipal court. Broaddus & Associates provides on-site oversight throughout assessment, design, and construction to support successful project delivery.
