In 2020, Haltom City retained Broaddus & Associates to address design concerns with Fire Station #3 after value engineering changes to the exterior were not properly communicated. The team assessed the issue and developed solutions to restore the intended appearance without exceeding the project’s contracted GMP.

Working with the CMAR, product manufacturers, and architect, Broaddus & Associates developed a cost-effective approach to install stucco and thin brick over the existing metal panels. The station was completed on time and within budget, resulting in Haltom City assigning three additional projects to Broaddus & Associates.
