Austin III Data Center provides 172,000 SF of shell and 120,000 SF of co-located space, with up to 18 megawatts of power and more than 25,000 SF of class A office space. Due to a need to increase the load capacity of the existing data center, CyrusOne installed an additional 9 PDUs and 9 STSs inside Data Hall.

To support the increased load capacity, an additional emergency generator was also installed along with 2 additional chiller units. Broaddus & Associates was engaged to provide project management services for the construction administration phase of this project. Specific Services for construction administration included: 

• Review and monitoring of schedules and construction documents. 
• Constructability reviews and contract management. 
• Providing direct interface on site with CyrusOne facilities management team and contractor project management team. 
• Review of all change proposals and pay applications. 
• Coordinating all processes and workflows between contractor and client.
