DATA CENTERS

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center | Data Center Expansion

Broaddus & Associates is serving on the project delivery team for the $6B Capital Improvement Program for MD Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) in Houston, Texas. This program includes significant improvement and expansion projects across multiple Data Centers. At each Data Center, our team is facilitating the replacement of existing Uniterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) which are nearing the end-of-life optimal operation. The manufacturer is also phasing out the production of replacement parts, making maintenance and repairs difficult.

Each project installs new UPS systems, Power Distribution Units (PDU’s), and Computer Room Air Handling Units (CRAHU). At all three projects,  Chilled Door cooling and Direct Liquid Cooling technology use chilled water systems to cool new high-density computer server racks.
