Mar 31, 2017
Members of Broaddus & Associates joined local dignitaries, project team members and media at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso's newest and largest Neighborhood Healthcare Center to date.  The $22 million UMC East Clinic serves the east side of El Paso and includes exam rooms, a pharmacy, a laboratory and diagnostic imaging services.  It offers primary care, pediatrics, women's health and other specialty services.  The 43,000 SF facility is part of UMC's ongoing $152 million capital improvement program, where Broaddus & Associates is serving as Program Manager.
UMC is an acute care teaching hospital and El Paso's only non-for-profit, community-owned hospital and healthcare system. UMC and its community clinics work in conjunction with El Paso First Health Plans and the University Medical Center Foundation to bring a well-rounded healthcare system to the region.  UMC is the primary teaching hospital of the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.  UMC is home to the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center.
